Repairing the stone wall around Calke Abbey……I find Calke Abbey is amazing place full of the history of human lives. Yesterday I spent time with Mark who has a lovely job preserving the ancient wall around the abbey. THE MINORS. Sat outside Wetherspoons last night waiting for a friend to come out I noticed the Morris Minor in pristine condition. My dad was in the process of renovating one when he left the world all those years ago. As I took a photograph another minor scooted across in front of me. Off to Calke abbey today with RPS East Midlands. Tuesday at Uni of Hertfordshire, Wed and Thursday at RPS Bristol where in the city they all seem to rush about on fast scooters and then Friday at Laycock again, this time with The RPS Historical group #photographerslife #photographersjourney #fujixseries #fujix100f #wetherspoons #bristol #rps

I was going to arrive for the RPS licentiate asses

I was going to arrive for the RPS licentiate assessments early so decided to visit NT Lacock, to have a look at the early days of photography (Fox Talbot) and a bit of Harry Potter as well. I enjoyed the trip and I think I might be back soon.
